I am a fine artist who creates original portrait paintings. I am currently working on a series of portraits that aims to inspire the protection of our environment by showing the impact of nature on the human soul. In order to do this, I almost always need to find like-minded people to be included in my portraits.

What to Expect
I use either studio lighting or natural light in order to take reference photos, which I use as guides when creating my original portrait paintings.
Because my work involves the relationship between people and nature, most likely you would be photographed surrounded by nature. This could involve being photographed outside at a park or garden, in or around greenhouses or botanical gardens, or inside with houseplants. Occasionally I supplement with artificial flowers or greenery. If you are comfortable, I also need reference photos of people in or around bodies of water—either a beach, pond or river.
Let me know of any restrictions you may have. Since my work may involve being outside, together we can plan what type of portraits you are comfortable doing.
We can also discuss if you would like me to take additional photos for your personal use as well.
How to Be Involved
From a scheduling point of view, I am happy to work with anybody in the Washington, DC or Savannah area. Anybody can be included, especially if you are like me, and deeply value the environment.
